Call for scientific projects CIPEL 2026-2027
The International Commission for the Protection of Lake Geneva (CIPEL) is launching its call for scientific projects for 2026-2027, with a total budget of CHF 30,000 to support research on the functioning of Lake Geneva and its watershed.
We invite scientific and environmental institutions (universities, research institutes, consulting firms, museums, associations, etc.) to submit projects that contribute to the CIPEL Action Plan 2021–2030 in three main areas:
- How Lake Geneva functions in the context of climate change
- Ecological status and biodiversity trends
- Pollution and anthropogenic pressures (micropollutants, microplastics, etc.)
📅 Deadline for project submissions: May 8, 2026
📆 Project implementation period: 2026–2027
💰 Funding: up to CHF 30,000
